Below are some of our pictures from our trip to see Derek Webb in Marion, IN at IWU. The longer I live in the cookie cutter concret jungle of suburbia, the more I long for rural roads, small towns, old growth trees, and small town churches. The drive through the Indiana countryside made me wax nostalgic about my own tiny town upbringing. (Rural East Tennessee town of 900)
Derek Webb is so cute with his beautiful bald, shiny head. :)
I think our bass player looks like him a little. In fact, I've accidentally called Adam "Derek" a few times. Thankfully, he's very understanding.
You guys should really come up to Seattle sometime. I think you'd like the combination of city in the midst of so much greenery. There's a reason it's nicknamed "The Emerald City." ;)
I'm a graduate student in clinical psychology at a Christian college in the Midwest. I am originally from Tennessee. I like hills and despise the cold weather. I love my husband and my cats.
