Happy things about my day...

I went to the massage therapist at the Student Health Center. We're not talking some gentle massage here, people. This woman jumped on me with all of her 130lbs, picked me up, swung me like a lasso over her head, and then placed me back on the table feeling warm all over. If you meet an Irishwoman name Sile (pronounced SHEE-LUH), ask her to do the same for you. It'll only set you back $45.00. (That's 4 hours of work as a TA, and worth EVERY STINKING PENNY).

In our neighborhood, we have a a couple of flavor factories. There are often wonderful smells all over the neighborhood because of this. Sometimes it's buttered popcorn, other times strawberry, or vanilla. Today was butterscotch..my favorite!

I had breakfast at one of my favorite places with my friend Amanda. It's so nice to spend two hours over an asparagus, mushroom, and cheese omelet with potatoes and a couple of pancakes. (What do you think I had to drink? Well, Diet Coke, of course).

Although my intramural basketball team was clobbered by a bunch of muscled, in shape 20 year old former varsity basketball players, I didn't do half bad in our game last night. If only I could run for more than five minutes, my lazy out of shape ass is working on it. Regardless, it felt absolutely fabulous to be back in team sports.

My hubby took the day off of work today. He did the taxes this year. I love this man.

Our new kitty is getting along just smashingly with our other cat.

I don't trust Severus Snape, well, maybe I do. I think..maybe... No spoilers, the hubby is reading book 6 right now.
