There's a 1,000-sqft house on our block currently listing for $630,000.
And we live in a "transitional" neighborhood.
Just one of the many, many reasons why we're still in an apartment.
Which one of those ferns do you want?
Ha! Yeah, this house is in Tennessee. Up here in Chicagoland, this house is at least 500k, but our prices are still nowhere near what it costs to live in the bay area.
If only I were done with grad school, then this is so my dream home, I would beg, borrow, and steal my way into it. ;)
That house is just gorgeous. And it only cost slightly more than what we paid for our fixer-upper on the outskirts of Seattle! Gah!
I think that home would probably go for at least 500k up here, too. Maybe more.
That's similar to how we want our house to look when we're *finished* fixing it up...25 years from now. (sigh)
I likes me some Crafstman homes. Very nice.
